As headteacher of 11th graders studying tourism and services at Lazăr Edeleanu Technological High School Năvodari in Romania, I organised an online meeting for my students with Ovidiu Acomi, a representative of Team4Excellence.
He presented the platform offered by the BlueGeneration Project where people can find professional development courses related to Blue Economy sectors such as coastal tourism, aquaculture, ocean energy, marine biotechnology, shipbuilding, maritime transport and fisheries.
Moreover, the students were informed about the importance of upskilling and reskilling, no matter what profession they choose. The event took place in March 2022 to coincide with World Water Day, 22 March 2022.
