I chose vocational education after being influenced by the accountant at the company where my brother works. I started my vocational education at the Anamur commercial high school in 2003.
During high school, I did an internship at Halkbank for one year. In our data processing course, we had the opportunity to process the data at the Anamur library. I finished vocational high school at the top of my class.
After high school, I graduated from the Department of Accounting and Finance at Gazi University in Ankara and started my teaching career at VAN/ÇATAK vocational high school. I aim to give my students practical up-to-date information in commerce.
I want them to think about business and entrepreneurship and am active in many projects with this in mind. I teach an economics class for VET high school students across Turkey.
At the Samsun Alaçam Şehit Erdal Bolat Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, I provide training including 15 projects every year related to commerce, economics, employment, taxation, agricultural development, cooperatives in agriculture, banking and the transition to higher education. I also visit the villages to introduce students and parents to VET and to promote vocational high schools.
