I am Nisa. I am a 12th-grade student at ASO Technical College with studies in the field of machine technology. My first encounter with the field of machinery was through vocational education courses.
Our teachers’ introduction to the field led me to begin my education in this profession that had caught my attention. In the 10th grade, I received theoretical training as well as practical training in universal turret lathe and universal milling machines. I also took technical drawing and AutoCAD lessons.
In the 11th and 12th grades, I received SolidCAM training in addition to theoretical training as well as practical training in computer numerical control (CNC) lathe and milling machines. In this way, I took drawing lessons and learned how to design while progressing in my studies of manufacturing technologies.
The training set I designed with my friend Ahsen at my school to better explain the limits of tolerance achieved an award in the TÜBITAK competitions in our region. I love my training programme and plan to continue in machine technology because it is a very broad field with many applications. I want to specialise in these areas in my direction of choice and manufacture components for my country.
