I was born in Izmir in 1990. I enrolled at the Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School of Hendek’s Anatolian Development Foundation in 1997. In my first year, I changed my mind about computer technology and decided to continue in the numerical control branch of information technology at my school.
I learned about the circuits, tubes, solder, alloys and more on computer graphics cards. I was curious about the properties of and differences among metals. That’s why I chose to study metalworking in higher education.
I accepted a position to study in the associate degree programme in the Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Department in Sakarya University Vocational and High School.
I completed my degree programme in two years and qualified to enrol in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at Sakarya University. The world of metals was very interesting to me –their reactions to heat and cold, how they take the shape of a mould, their endurance and the many ways they serve us at every stage of our lives.
Now I work as a wire and under-gas wire production engineer at the Gedik Holding factory in the Second Organised Industrial Zone (OSB) of Hendek.
