I have been working as a teacher in a vocational high school for 16 years. Being a teacher was my biggest dream. After I started working at the vocational high school, I had the opportunity for personal development with in-service training.
By participating in many training programmes, I progressed in different areas. In 2015, I had the opportunity for vocational education related to my field in Italy with the Erasmus+ Teacher Mobility project. Later, I worked with my students and fellow teachers on different projects.
In 2019, I took part as an expert educator in the Tübitak 4004 ‘Solar Printing’ project carried out in cooperation with the Provincial Directorate of National Education and Marmara University.
After the project, we made alternative prints and held an exhibition with my friend, also a teacher, with whom I worked on the project.
Afterwards, we shared our work and our book ‘NATURAL’ on the national and international stage. Now this book is used as a source in textbooks and we have the opportunity to share our knowledge with teachers and students in different projects.
I'm glad I'm a teacher, and I'm glad I'm a vocational high school teacher.
