The logistics that save me

I attend the Szent László Vocational School. I chose vocational training as a logistics technician because I couldn’t go to university, but I wanted to study. I didn't know anything about VET, so I asked my older friends and, fortunately, they had only positive things to say about it.

It was hard for me to integrate into the school community at first because I had had a very good friend throughout the previous years at school, so I hadn't learned to make new friends. As I began learning more about logistics, I started to 'find myself' and to feel accepted. In addition, my logistics VET has included a lot of laughing and joking with each other, and it has given me self-confidence.

I am grateful for my logistics VET that has given me new professional goals, comradery with fellow students, and teachers who encourage me to be much better tomorrow than I am today. My VET in logistics has made me realise that I will need more than one person in my life - I will have to open up to others.

Working in logistics is a profession in which people and systems depend on each other. Our class community is homing its skills to do this well and we are on our way to becoming expert logisticians.
