My Erasmus trip to Valencia

I chose to participate in the Erasmus program because I was excited to go to Valencia. We travelled by bus through Poland, Germany and France to finally arrive in Spain. When we got to Spain, everyone was excited. When we finally arrived in the city of Valencia, we were in awe. Its climate, beauty and friendliness was very alluring.

I quickly acclimated there and began my apprenticeship at APP Informática Castellar. My co-worker and I had a very good relationship with our employer, Raul Carriqui, from the start. Back at the youth hostel, things were great. We felt like it was our home. In our free time, we explored Valencia and got to know its customs and culture.

We enjoyed the delicious food, grand beaches and beautiful – a bit exotic to us – Mediterranean architecture. Our Polish tutor, Aleksandra Kuciapa of Esmovia, and our teachers took good care of us. After nearly a month, our apprenticeship was over and we were ready to return home.

We are very grateful for this experience and will cherish it throughout our lives. It made me a stronger person with a richer character and boosted my confidence. I definitely recommend the Erasmus programme to all students!
