I am Lara Luc and I am almost 18 years old. I'm from Slovenia, from the small town of Polzela. I like to bake desserts and to cook, but I also love animals. I attend the Secondary Vocational School for Gastronomy and Tourism Celje.
I have participated in the Erasmus+ programme twice already – in Dubrovnik, Croatia and in Valencia, Spain. The last trip was three months long. I was very satisfied with my practical training at the Sagardi restaurant. I became very connected with the team.
The chef told me a lot about the preparation of the dishes, and the most important things for him during preparation. The food prepared in the restaurant was very tasty. I learned to prepare various tapas and the chef showed me how to clean, fillet and bake fish.
I can't wait to prepare tapas at home for my family. The Erasmus+ training was a way to learn a little bit about Spain, too. It was so interesting for me to observe different cultural events - Falles or the Easter celebration. I visited a lot of nice places and learned about Spanish culture and traditions.
I recommend Erasmus+ mobility – it will broaden your horizons and you will become more self-confident and ready for new challenges.
