Raising Awareness of Green Energy at Every Level

I am a renewable energy technologies teacher at the Bayraklı Nuri Atik Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School. Using renewable energy sources has become necessary to protect our environment and reduce our dependence on foreign sources, especially related to energy.

We teach about the fields of solar energy and wind energy. Solar and wind are clean forms of energy that are unlimited in supply, whose energy conversion does not harm the environment, and that contribute to sustainable development.

The teachers and students, working together, make some of the training sets we use in our lessons. This prepares our students for this field by providing them with both theoretical and practical training.

The training sets we produce are not only for our high school students but also for students at the primary education level. Our aim is to raise awareness of green energy at every level of education, starting with basic education.

I graduated from the electrical department of a vocational high school myself so I am quite comfortable teaching in my department. I can easily take advantage of what I learned in vocational high school to better myself.
