After comprehensive school I started to study in a high-school. This was mainly because by making this choice I pleased my parents. Already during the first year at high-school I noticed that maybe vocational school would be better for me. So I changed to a VET school and studied one year in a VALMA-class. That is Preparatory vocational education. It is intended for persons who would like to take a degree programme leading to a vocational upper secondary qualification. During the VALMA education, I had the opportunity to familiarise various fields and consider what I would like to study. I tried car-engineering and soon I was sure this this is the best for me. At the moment I am studying second year to becoming a car-mechanic. There are not so many girls here, but I am happy.
