Cooking has stolen my heart and continues to take my breath away

My cooking journey started when I was eight years old. My mother worked till late in the evening. I used to cook for her because I wanted to help. Then I fell in love with cooking. When I grew up I chose a cook's profession in Klaipeda Tourism.

I can confidently say that my heart is in the kitchen. A normal working day for me is sixteen hours long. In the evening I feel that I have expressed myself, I understand that my day has been meaningful.

I took an advantage of the "Erasmus+" program as I have already participated in two mobilities in London. Both internships lasted for three months. It is hard to put into words how internships in London have changed my life. A real experience in the kitchen, working with the most famous chefs, stunning beauty of London and breathtaking buildings, what could have been better?

In the summer I graduated and obtained the qualification of a cook. However, in the autumn I came back to study at my beloved school, this time – confectioner's profession.

At the moment I am participating in the mobility program, in Cyprus by "Erasmus+". My dream is to open my own restaurant in the future, I am on the way.
