Paulius was only in his freshman year, vocational training where his classes were only once a week.He prepared for competitions after school, during the holidays, even on Saturdays. It is a rare case when a student participates in three professional mastery competitions in the first year of his profession studies in the international competition "Tile Layer 2019" in Estonia, in the national surface decoration competition. In 2020, for the second year in a row, he participated in the international tile laying professional mastery competition at the Jarva County Vocational Training Centre, Estonia. Although, Paulius is a frequent winner of prizes in professional mastery competitions, this time he had a special success: he won the 1st place and the most unexpected prize of the partners of the Jarva County Vocational Training Centre – trip to France. So, the question remains open, was Paulius born a craftsman wiith "golden"hands, or did he achieve mastery with his hard work, persistence, striving to be not only the best, but also to have a perfect knowledge of his chosen profession?
