Participants from 45 countries attended over 1500 events organised by Vocational Education and Training providers, social partners, public authorities and employment services, enterprises, youth and adult learning organisations as well as the European Commission in the context of the European Vocational Skills Week 2017. The Week encouraged young people to consider VET as the first step to their career; and adults to build and further develop their skills.

‘The Week through the eyes of learners’ presents the reactions and impressions of learners from different walks of life and ages gathered during the European Vocational Skills Week 2017. They describe how the Week inspired them, broadened their perception of VET in Europe, and contributed to their personal projects or career aspirations. The report is based on learners’ contributions, providing their unique insights.
