I chose to became a carpenter due to my interest in this trade starting from the wood structure to tools. I had great-grandfather’s tools remained – gravers, planes and many other old time tools, which only strengthened my interest in carpentry. I made my mind to study vocational education not taking into account that it means a year more of studies for gaining the qualification. I must say I did not expect such a great support from the school and other people. I was able not only to gain qualitative, for labour market up-to dated education, but also to meet entrepreneurs who doing the same thing, but of course in other level. It is great that I was offered various scholarships. Currently I have scholarship from school’s patron and I also earn salary during my practise in the enterprise. I am sure to say that choosing vocational education has more pluses than minuses and what is for sure – work is on my doorstep!
