It wasn’t difficult for me to choose a field of study, as I was interested in technologies since childhood. But I wanted to study something where I could use my hands. I was always creating stuff from disassembled electric parts, especialy LED diods and little motors. But I didn’t understand why and how things work and I wanted to know more about electronics. I found an amazing option - mechanic electrotechnician at a Secondary Technical School of Transportation in Prague. Within practical education,we were soldering, building circuits by schemes, which was more fun than the theoretical part of studies. Later on I found out that theory plays an important role and is necessary for practice. The best experience that I’ve had so far was my participation in Horizon GP project. We tried both hydrogen technologies and a real teamwork. In higher grade we sucessfully got into world’s finals. In 4th grade (graduation year) I had an internship in Prague Transport Company and I was impressed by it. I enjoyed the work at depot Pankrác, where I started to work after graduation. I participate on maintenance and repairs of trams, usually 15T models.
