I’ve learned so much in such a short time

I was unsure of what to study in college and decided to do a PLC course in Computer Systems and Networks after finishing secondary school. I found that my tutors, classmates and company colleagues all helped and guided me. With the apprenticeship you truly get an understanding of what it is like to work as a Network Engineer.

Some might think the challenge is with the course work. That’s not the case. Although some areas of the course are more tricky than others, the tutors are there to help and guide you, so too are your classmates and your colleagues in your company.

For me, one of the primary skills that I have developed is communication. In my job I am part of a team that has two members based in America, so it’s essential that there is really effective communication between us.

There are many elements to the job that I enjoy. In particular the job satisfaction after a task is completed and you get confirmation that it is working. It is a great feeling, what makes this job all the more worthwhile.
