My name is Alexandra and like many of us, I have a dream. I come from Austria and currently residing in Brussels.

Most of my life, I never knew the feeling of passion. I thought, maybe I just do not have a goal, a dream.
Maybe I will have an "average" life but the thing is, I am a typical millennial. There has to be a purpose in life and I had to find this purpose.

To be safe, I studied law. One day someone introduced me to fairtrade. This concept sparked my interest to do some research. There was one topic which astonished me the most: chocolate. I found it, my passion. Now I knew I want to make my own fair chocolate.

Long story short, after my law studies I moved to Belgium to start my training as chocolatiere at CERIA: an evening adult school in Brussels. For two years I learned how to make chocolate. On my first day I was surprised that at 27 years, I was one of the youngest in the class. This motivated me to think that it is never too late to start with something new. I loved creating pralines with the most delicious fillings.

Now with my diploma I hope I can work in a chocolaterie soon and maybe one day start my own fair chocolate business.
