Learning and experiencing Finland

Finland

At the beginning of the school year, I had the opportunity to take part in an Erasmus + VET project, which took place in Finland (Jamsa). My teacher Gioconda Neamt from Liceul Tehnologic Silvic Transilvania in Nasaud applied for a grant to make training abroad in forestry branch.

During this stage, I had the occasion to meet new people and learn all about Finnish culture and traditions. I learnt news things about forestry, machinery, equipment and their way of work. This improved my professional knowledge and enlarged my cultural horizon.

I was very impressed by their way of living and working. As far as machinery and equipment are concerned, I can say that the level is high which makes this work much easier.

Overall, it was an experience, which besides being very useful gave me the possibility to know and find out more about another society.
