This is Me

this is me project

Students have many talents but too often they don't know what they are, how to use them and how to make their dreams come true. That was the main goal of the event called 'This Is Me’, it was a chance for our VET students to show the competences, skills and attitudes learnt in Europe.

Our school, IIS Einstein Nebbia has been organising VET experiences in Europe for around 20 years. We have plenty of success stories to share: students who have become great chefs, others who have been travelling around the world to improve their career, and students who - after lots of success abroad - have decided to come back home and settle down.

Our goal was to encourage all students to work together (regardless of ability), sharing skills and talent, and spread a message to others in our region, to encourage them to experience EU projects. Our message is that everybody is unique, so don't be scared to show who you are, because that's the way to success.

Students showcased their talents; not only their vocation. They put themselves out there by singing, dancing, juggling, getting inspiration from movies and from the circus world to express their wish to be themselves - to fly high, to dream of the future they wish to build. Together they sang “I am brave, I am bruised, I’m meant to be who I am meant to be, THIS IS ME”.

This is part of what students learned through their Erasmus+ projects and what they wanted to share.
