I completed my internship thanks to the Erasmus + project in Rimini, Italy, in the Ottica Gallasi store. I traveled from Poland to Italy for an internship. We went through the recruitment process and then attended additional professional English and Italian classes in order to communicate better and more efficiently after arriving in Italy. I agreed to it because I wanted to gain new skills and professional experience, as well as get to know the country and its culture. It was a very good opportunity not only to learn a profession but also to improve English language training and learn about new cultures. I learned a lot of new things there. One of them was learning how to use a cash register and other spreadsheets. My boss explained to me how to handle the cash register and then helped me handle my first customer. Thanks to the internship, I learned the basics of the Italian language, which allowed me to communicate more easily during my stays and trained my English language. I have become more independent and brave. It is easier for me to break the communication barrier in English. In my work I also made a shop window, arranged the goods so that they attract customers.
