The Awards for VET Excellence is back!
The Awards for VET Excellence will recognise the outstanding work being done within the VET community and provide networking and open up new opportunities. There’s still time to take part and submit your nominations.
If you are a teacher, trainer, a company training its employees or offering apprenticeships, or if you are an innovative VET provider, take advantage of the awards or spread the word.
The awards have proven to be a huge success in previous years, succeeding in raising awareness and the attractiveness of VET to an audience beyond the usual VET stakeholders. In 2018, Commissioner Thyssen closed the event stating, “Our campaign has reached millions of Europeans to convince them that VET is a great first choice.”
As with past years, the Week will include a Nominees Awards Celebration event. This will be held in Helsinki on 17 October in the presence of Marianne Thyssen European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility.
Many of the awards are open competitions, offering the public a chance to get involved.
