Since I was a childI was always fond of everything flashy and shiny. The main decision factor when I was choosing school was my interest. My brother and father are in the construction profession so I wanted to follow their steps and decided for technical field of studies. I applied for field of study Mechanic Electrotechnician at Upper Secondary Technical School of Transport in Prague and got accepted.

Within the first grade we‘ve got a great opportunity to get involved into international project Horizon Grand Prix, in which we as a school team built a model of hydrogen automobile and could race with it afterwards. We joined this project until the graduation. We enjoyed that we could apply the theory what we’ve learned in classes in practice and we were successful. Some of us were even offered interesting positions in companies thanks to these contacts and experience. In all these activities, the school provided us with support. Even though some activities were beyond the regular classes, teachers of vocational subjects or language teachers were living the project with us all along.

After my graduation, I’ve got a job in company, which takes care of municipal camera systems.
