Vocational education opened the gate to the world of artistic creation

I am a graduate of the Vocational Art School (VAS) in Košice, Department of Promotional Art. Even as a little boy I liked to draw with my grandfather. During elementary school, I attended (for nine years) an afternoon art school. I am especially grateful to my parents who supported my interest in arts. In addition to the artistic foundations that I have acquired during my studies at (VAS), this school has given me many positive and useful skills for life, such as consistency, perseverance, and responsibility. I also discovered the love of photography here, which helped me to find my own artistic way.

I am currently working for the production company Woont, where I have gained a huge amount of pre-production, production and post-production experience in photography and film. I have the opportunity to work on a number of interesting projects that help me get to places, which are usually inaccessible to ordinary people. Our work also contributed to the development of tourism in Košice, Slovakia, and the surrounding regions and cities.

I also had the opportunity to be part of creating music videoclips for Slovak A-level performers such as IMT-smile, Lina Mayer, Peter bič projekt and Noc a deň, working as an assistant or cameraman. I also participated in various advertising spots for companies such as Orange, Nicolaus, SLSP, Good Angels and projects for young people such as Take the Ball Not Drugs. We also work with corporate companies, which we create promotional materials. Studying at VAS opened the gate to the world of artistic creation and thanks to that I can now make a living by doing what I love.
