Have your say on who should be crowned winners for this year’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) Excellence Awards.

Whether you are an apprentice, individual or organisation, there is a category for everyone which provides visibility and recognition for good work! The awards serve as a way of building new networks to create new learning and career opportunities, as well as showcasing the outstanding work that is being done by the VET community across Europe.

For each award, a jury of independent members have pre-selected two nominees for a total of 11 awards. So now we need your help! The nominations are open for the following four categories to an online vote in which you are invited to choose your preferred winner:

1. Companies and Learners
2. VET Innovators
3. European Funding for Excellence
4. European Agencies and European Agencies: Cedefop Vocational Education and Training Photo Award

Please remember to click the option to “Submit Votes” to ensure your vote is registered.

Being the fourth European Vocational Skills week, there will once again be an Awards Nominees Celebration event that is held in Helsinki on the 17th October, which will take place in the presence of Marianne Thyssen, European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility. Commissioner Thyssen will hand out the awards that evening.

Voting closes on the 15th October 2019 – do not miss the opportunity to select the best! They might then have the opportunity to become ambassadors in their field of expertise.
