We’re delighted to welcome this year’s National Contact Points (NCPs) who have volunteered their time, expertise and ingenuity to support their local VET organisations in preparing and promoting VET in the context of the European Vocational Skills Week 2022.

The NCPs are not only contact points for national, regional and local stakeholders wanting to organise VET-related events/activities, but also real partners helping them carry their vision forward.

This year’s dynamic cohort includes organisations who are actively involved in developing and implementing curricula, creating tools and technologies to support lifelong learners, supporting VET policy making and so much more.

Our 2022 NCPs will enable all those wishing to promote the attractiveness and excellence of their VET events and activities, by linking them to the European Vocational Skills Week - this year centred on the theme of VET and the Green Transition.

By supporting local event/activity organisers and spreading the word about their events and the Week itself, NCPs are helping young people and adults ‘discover their talent’ through the exciting journey VET offers. Such events offer real opportunities for students, employees and employers alike to realise the enormous benefits of investing in VET via initial training of young people or upskilling and reskilling of adults.

Our NCPs are actively working in their home countries and through international collaborations to promote VET and all it has to offer individuals, organisations and society. We are excited and fortunate to have them onboard this year elevating the discussion around VET in support of the 2022 Week and the wonderful VET event and activity organisers.
