Bridging non-formal and formal adult learning through PSL competences

PSL competences (Personal, Social and Learning-to-Learn competences) represent a wide range of skills that cut across occupations and sectors and, by fostering self-confidence, can be considered the most urgent skills for adults at risk of marginalisation and unemployment.

At our event, we will present the results of our more than two years of work (in a project consortium) on the implementation of PSL competences in adult learning bridge programmes, bringing together non-formal and formal adult learning.

Our speakers will present perspectives from civil society, the European Commission and its Joint Research Centre, the OECD and the Walloon labour market training organisation Forem, and discuss challenges and future perspectives.
