Equipped workshop, equipped training for efficient energy

Hello, I am Tolga Tolan, Electrical Teacher at ‘The journalist Cetin Altan Vocational and Technical High School’ in Bayrakli, İzmir. I chose this education because I know that vocational high schools are the vehicle that develops the country.

I became a vocational teacher in order to be more useful with the education I received. I am in my 10th year of teaching. Since my first year, I have struggled to ensure that students receive education in accordance with the sector.

I contacted companies to ensure that the workshops were suitable and equipped for the sector in whichever school I was at. And with the support I received from companies, I established well-equipped workshops.

There are control panels, compensation panels and automation panels in our workshop. Another issue we attach importance to is efficient energy. We want to offer a direct and indirect solution for this. We teach the compensation system in direct solution.

In the indirect solution, unfortunately, graduate students do not practice their own profession. And this causes energy wastage. In order to prevent energy wastage, we want to train students in accordance with the sector and bring each of them to their sector.
