In 2021, as part of the Erasmus+ program, we participated in the project ‘Internships abroad in Italy as a chance for professional development’. It was an extremely interesting adventure for us. The Italians were very hospitable and friendly, so we felt at home in Rimini during our month-long stay.
We gained work experience at a restaurant in Rimini that has been awarded a Michelin star four times in a row. We were very surprised to have the honour of doing our internship in such a distinguished restaurant.
Our restaurant offered its guests exquisite cuisine full of finesse and inspired flavours. It focused on a small number of dishes, seasonal produce and South American influences. All stages of the dishes’ preparation were characterised by care and precision.
We learned about the accuracy in food preparation, about being committed to the work, and about cleanliness in the kitchen. The kitchen was equipped with high-quality equipment, and we learned about modern cooking techniques.
We also closely followed the detail, creativity and passion that the cooks put into decorating the dishes. Each dish is a work of art.
