I am Cavit, I was born in 1974 in Sakarya. In 1986, when I was just 12 years old, I started working as an apprentice in a workshop that manufactures and maintains agricultural equipment. At the same time, I was attending a vocational high school. I quickly overpassed the other four apprentices in the workshop and, within three years, became their master.
I observed my own master very often, doing whatever he did. When I went to the military in 1994, once again I was an iron specialist and made a big garage for the tanks in the military barracks. Seeing this, a friend of mine offered me a fantastic job opportunity abroad where he was working.
I did not accept the offer and continued to work in my country where I launched my own company, Tarim in Köksal, in 2014. I received an order for 23 trailers even before opening the workshop. Within a few years, I expanded the business and turned the workshop into a factory.
I also started to market agricultural tools to different provinces of Turkey and to other countries such as Azerbaijan, Romania and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Now, I am also a teacher, another childhood dream of mine. I train students from vocational high schools and vocational training centres in my factory.
