I completed a vocational training as an office manager, and I am currently undergoing further training to become an administrative specialist. I have always enjoyed organising and coordinating.
I chose this path because I found the work in the field of VET very interesting, and I wanted to get to know the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) better.
The highlight of my training experience was definitely my internship abroad at the Higher Education Authority (HEA) in Dublin, Republic of Ireland. Vocational training is particularly helpful if you have just finished school but still want to do practical work to gain work experience that you can build on.
As for my future plans, I would like to successfully complete my continuing training degree this year. After that, I am aiming for a position as a finance/controlling clerk at BIBB. Would I choose a training again? The answer is a resounding YES!
