I wanted to apply for something in VET to have time to think about whether continuing my studies in higher education would be right for me. I first heard about logistics on television - that it is the life and soul of the economy. I like it very much as it entails a lot of organising.
One month ago, I went shopping with my dad and it happened to be right at delivery time, so I got to watch the lorries arrive at the supermarket. Two years from now, I might be the one who decides where and when these lorries deliver their goods. That would be a great pleasure for me, and I can’t wait to gain the required knowledge!
I really like my professional education - we are always learning new things and our teachers always illustrate them with real life examples. We also had the opportunity to visit several different companies where they showed us how their logistics systems work.
When I complete this programme, I look forward to working in this field and to continuing my studies as well if I have the chance. I grab every opportunity to enhance my knowledge and skills so I can become a good logistics manager.
