As young individuals entering the labour market, we are constantly aiming for lifelong learning and professional growth. Keeping vocational training as a priority, we attended the interactive and educational European Vocational Skills Week event in Larissa, Greece linking training with rapidly changing industrial demands.
Interesting ideas were shared on how to stay informed about the latest technology trends and keep up with the cutting-edge technologies of Industry 5.0 and AI. We participated in interesting exhibitions, got inspired and motivated by innovation examples throughout history and interacted with fascinating virtual reality content. We had the chance to connect with vocational education and training teachers from graduate institutes across Europe and with employees of information and communications technology companies.
Thus, a holistic idea of the most relevant and up-to-date skills was communicated to support our educational goals and ambitions. A start-up mindset was inspired to best serve the highly specialised business needs both in Europe and worldwide. We became familiar with new ways to develop our innovative ideas. The event was well organised, and our experience was constructive overall.
