Association of Slovene Higher Vocational Colleges

The Association of Slovene Higher Vocational Colleges is a national professional organization representing 49 of our members, Higher Vocational Colleges, both public and private providers, all offering European Qualifications Framework (EQF) level 5 qualifications.

Our members deliver higher vocational education programs. They also contribute to applied research, professional studies, and the overall development of local communities and regions.

We take pride that 40% of our curricula are designed as in-company work-based learning, allowing students to gain practical experience in working environments. To ensure the highest standards of education, our teaching staff must possess up-to-date professional experiences and knowledge from their respective fields, in addition to strong pedagogical and andragogical competencies.

Our approach ensures that students receive cutting-edge theoretical training within our institution's facilities, followed by supervised and guided in-company placements with certified and qualified mentors.
