Asociación Mundus is a non-profit organisation established in 2013 in Spain. Its aim is to promote intercultural learning, volunteering and non-formal education, especially for the youth.
Our main activities consist in managing international training and mobility projects like internships, volunteering, youth exchanges and training courses. In the field of education, its expertise lies in the international mobility VET projects’ management.
Asociación Mundus works with a network of companies in Aragon and Catalonia, which are committed to supporting the practical learning of young Europeans by hosting VET students in all professions as they carry out their internships. It also sends around 300 students to do internships in countries of the European Union.
Asociación Mundus continuously works to expand its network and expertise by participating in or coordinating long term projects, such as capacity building or strategic partnerships. Asociación Mundus is the coordinating organisation of the Supporting Alliance for African Mobility (SAAM), a pilot project directly founded by the European Commission, designed and implemented by Asociación Mundus, that aims to develop a future mobility program in the field of VET between Africa and Europe. It is the only one of two proposals that was approved.
In the youth field, Asociación Mundus sends and hosts youth via the European Voluntary Service and the European Solidarity Corps and acts as a coordinating organisation for the same. Asociación Mundus is also strongly involved in the local community, where it organises different activities and events to raise awareness related to the benefits of participating in international mobility programs.
Over the years, Mundus has participated in and implemented projects in a wide range of mobility programmes - including: Youth in Action, Erasmus+, Europe for Citizens, European Social Fund - Youth Guarantee or PON, among others. Asociación Mundus believes that intercultural dialogue and the promotion of society’s fundamental values can benefit from international mobility as a tool to build an inclusive, egalitarian and intercultural society.
