AFPA
AFPA is a major operator of vocational training in France and Europe. A national agency since 1 January 2017, AFPA has been an invaluable partner of the French Ministry of Labour, Employment and Public Inclusion for more than 70 years.
AFPA plays a crucial role in professional and social integration by supporting job seekers and employees, from training to employment: vocational integration; reskilling; upskilling; and personal, professional and career development.
To support social inclusion public policies, AFPA creates and coordinates programs at the regional, national and European level that foster the integration of persons facing particular difficulties on the labour market, such as early school leavers, people with disabilities, immigrants and ethnic minorities by developing their employability, increasing job opportunities and preventing all forms of discrimination.
AFPA produces professional sector specific survey reports to help public decision makers define their training and certification plans and programs and develops new skills and jobs training programs to respond to the emerging needs in the labour market, in particular those required for the Green Transition.
AFPA cooperates with the major European VET associations: Vice-Presidency of the European Vocational Training Association (EVTA) and board member of the European Association of Institutes for Vocational Training (EVBB).
