I was not decided where to go after elementary school. One day I got an interesting information about study program Food analysis at the Secondary School of Food Technology in Veselí nad Lužnicí. I visited school and after a motivating discussion with the principal it was clear that I will choose between Food analysis program and Food technology program. My final decision came after the principal‘s words: „On technology program you get closer to brew beer“. School has it’s own small craft brewery, where students learn how to brew beer. During my studies I also tried to brew beer at home . The result was above my expectations. I cooked i my grandma’s pot. I brew beer for my friends and family and I still try to enhance the recipe. This year I got an unexpected offer, to become a brewer in Pelhřimov Minibrewery. Part of the tender was a meeting with the owner. I succeeded in it and I accepted the offer. I think such an opportunity can’t be refused and each experience counts. Now I work as a brewer in Pelhřimov Minibrewery Na Čtyrce, I currently study at a university and I sometimes brew my own Hellouš (Helena´s ) beer at home in a pot on stove.
