I graduated from Adapazarı Vocational High School and started to work at Arçelik, a multinational household appliances manufacturer. Arçelik was using an expensive filter from Germany in its kitchen range hoods.
Our story started with the authorities at Arçelik, whom I asked to find out whether this filter was also produced in Turkey. This was the beginning of an enormous success. I realised that this filter was not produced in Turkey but could be.
The other partners agreed and we came together to form a factory that has expanded from a small workshop of 25 square metres to having global reach. Our enterprise was launched as ’the company from Sakarya that filters the world’.
We are now make products in many fields and have numerous national and international achievements – we are one of the leading companies in ornamental plant production and export. I have many degrees in the fields of tax record-keeping and exporting in Sakarya.
Our companies, which are among the top 500 companies in Turkey, provide employment opportunities for 3 000 people.
