After more than 15 years as an administrative accountant in the private sector, I decided to take a break to become a mother. This break left me in a weak position to re-enter the labour market.
I had reached the dreaded 45-year-old barrier, so I decided to take the reins of my professional life, relying on the public resources that the Spanish state and Europe provided me.
I was selected for an employment workshop by IDEA and was able to take two VET courses in one year: “Telehealth Call Management” and “Community Mediation”. Then, IDEA offered me the possibility to expand my horizons in the form of a 3-month experience in Pésaro, Italy in the context of the Erasmus+ programme.
All of this has been the turning point for my employability and has taught me that life is about trying. To learn more about it, you can watch her short interview by clicking on the link below.
