My greatest problem was that I really enjoyed cooking and knew so many things about the kitchen, but I had never considered formal studies. Qualifications were necessary to get a job, and I had none.
I couldn’t afford to get an education, but at IDEA Alzira they trained me for free in a vocational training for employment in cooking and, what’s more, they later offered me an Erasmus+ mobility opportunity in Italy.
For me, life's full of doors and you go around opening them, looking in for yourself. Personally, Erasmus+ was about looking for that door. To learn more about it, you can watch his short interview through the following link.
