My name is Emir Belli and I am 19 years old. I was born in Istanbul, the child of a family with 3 children. My mother works as a cleaner and my father works in a factory. I grew up learning how to overcome the impossible.

I went to primary and secondary school in Istanbul and had an interest in science that started when I was a child.

My mother used to tell me I was a chemist. I created my own games, using sand to filter water and trying to make plant essences.

In fact, my path to science began with my natural curiosity and my education in the science centres of the municipality in secondary school, where I was more perseverant and learned more than my peers. Science and art were necessities for me.

I studied marbling art at secondary school. After about 3 years, I won first place in the marbling art competition among all the municipalities in Istanbul years, although I was only 13 years old.
