My name is Timea Bartolenová and I am a student at the Medical Secondary School in Prievidza, Slovakia. I would like to present my experience from the online anatomy competition against the Medical Secondary School and Medical Higher Vocational School in Zlín, Czech Republic.
Our teachers asked us if we wanted to take part in the competition. The anatomy teachers at both schools prepared questions for the other team and we tried to answer those questions as soon as possible. The questions related to the first-year curriculum: cells, kinetics and the musculoskeletal system, the circulatory system, the respiratory system and the digestive system.
Our partnership with a foreign medical school resulted in a very good competition. We prepared for this competition very well and it was worth it. I and the four classmates on our team won. We enjoyed it very much because, in addition to the victory, we realised that our knowledge will be useful later in our lives.
We got certificates and nice gifts for taking part in Erasmus+, and our teachers gave us a beautiful and delicious cake for our effort. This competition was not just about winning, but also about the creation of interpersonal relationships and friendships through digital technology.
