I'm Osman Yanik. My interest in computer science started in the eighth grade on a school trip to the Akyazı Vocational High School. While visiting the various departments, when I heard about the computer department and their future plans, I decided I wanted to work with computers somehow.
Although I had high grades in secondary school, I chose Sapanca M.E.T.E.M. (a vocational and technical high school) and studied computer science.
My goal was to study computer engineering in the future. However, at that point in time, I chose the teaching department because it was associated with a positive grade adjustment on the university entrance exams. I then studied computer education at Düzce University.
After graduation, I worked as an IT expert in private companies for a while. At the same time, I prepared for the Selection Examination for Professional Posts in Public Organisations (KPSS).
I took the computer engineering exam, passed and got my diploma. I think our field is one of the most beautiful and constantly evolving. I continue to improve my skills in my chosen profession.
