I’m Duygu Yonel. I learned how to produce food using resources responsibly when I studied in the food and beverage services department at a vocational high school. To enhance my education in this field, I completed my undergraduate degree in food and beverage management.
When I dared to make a birthday cake, I realised I have a talent in pastry making! By integrating all the things I learned through my vocational education, I improved at home by trial and error. In 2018, I created my own brand in this business in which I started as an amateur, and I began making artisanal pastries by taking orders only in Izmir.
I focused on what I liked regarding my career. I loved the pleasure of producing. I started on this path by making cakes at home, gaining experience, and developing my own special recipes with the knowledge I gained through the practices in the vocational high school.
I consider myself responsible for ensuring that my work is socially, economically and environmentally sustainable. I pay attention to water and waste management according to the philosophy of using every resource or material efficiently that I learned in vocational high school.
