I have always been interested in music. My musical journey started very early as I grew up in a family full of musicians.
I have been singing since I was four years old at home, at festivals and at organisations accompanied by my grandfather’s baglama, a traditional Turkish string instrument.
I joined local children’s and youth choirs and travelled around Turkey singing with these choirs. I sang folk music on TRT radio for the young stars programme.
People also heard my voice on television and on local radio stations. Since the newspapers wrote about me, I have developed a lot of fans in my city, around Turkey and even abroad.
I chose VET and came to a fine arts high school because I want to be a professional, well-educated and culturally sophisticated musician in the future.
