In one of our lessons, we learned about the negative impact of batteries on nature, and researched the topic. We learned that batteries contain coal.
We carried out a project to improve our professional skills and to salvage unused batteries in schools, contributing to our economy and to ecological sustainability through recycling.
It reminded us that most of the waste in the world can be recycled and that, by using waste, many projects benefitting both nature and people are possible. We promote our product in foreign markets with the slogan ‘ecology and economy’, or ECO-ECO.
It warms people using the coal in the batteries that is harmful to nature. The idea is for people in an emergency or a natural disaster to heat the carbon rods in the batteries with copper cables and spread the heat with the help of a fan.
It is one of the few items that should be in any natural disaster kit because people must maintain their body temperature regardless of environmental conditions.
