- The future of VET
I am an English teacher at Yenimahalle Şehit Ali Tonga VET High School and I am keen on projects such as eTwinning and Erasmus+. Together with our food and drinks department, we have started implementing transnational projects with European students.
We never dreamed we would come face to face and experience in such a great atmosphere but we managed it! We are participating in the Erasmus Project KA229, which is our school’s first and only project.
The name of our project is ‘Eat Smart Save Your Land’ through which the students learn how to be conscious about food systems, their connection with the environment and sustainability.
Through this project, my students taught their parents and teachers about zero-waste recipes to save the environment and we all cooked together...We know that these events and projects are very important to VET schools to make the students more conscious individuals and prospective workers in food sectors.
