An impressive lineup of regional, national, and local events made the 6th edition of the European Vocational Skills Week (the Week) an unforgettable event-packed five days of insightful takeaways from reflective webinars and engaging panel discussions with VET stakeholders.
The Week’s events (16-20 May) primarily explored the theme of VET and the Green Transition, but also touched upon a host of other topics, such as upskilling and reskilling people to help them benefit from Europe’s digital transformation.
The Week had something for everyone. The programme included hundreds of associated events as well as a high-level event organised by the European Commission (18-19 May), together with the flagship Vocational Education and Training (VET) Excellence Awards, which celebrated outstanding examples of VET practice. A sea of smiles, reflective words of VET inspiration, watch them all at the 6th VET Excellence Awards.
