National Contact Points (NCPs) played a vital role in the success of the European Vocational Skills Week 2022. They promoted the wonderful world of VET, and helped local event organizers get their message out and gain exposure.
The mission of NCPs
NCPs support local event/activity organisers and spread the word about the Week by:
- identifying and encouraging national, regional and local stakeholders to organise VET-related events/activities and to register these events/activities on the European Commission’s dedicated website;
- providing dedicated assistance to potential Week-associated events/activities organisers in their countries;
- motivating the public in their countries and networks to share their VET success stories on the Week’s website;
- contacting local, regional or national media in their countries to spread the word about the Week and the local activities taking place;
- encouraging the public to participate in the VET Excellence Awards that will be held during the Week;
- promoting the candidacy of VET Excellence Awards nominees from their countries through their network of contacts and encouraging the public to vote for them.
NCPs invaluable voluntary involvement and support in helping and promoting local event organisers is greatly appreciated.
