My journey to vocational education wasn‘t straight. I’ve ben playing handball since I was 6. It was clear soon that it won’t be just a hobby but a profession. I have no idea when selecting a secondary school. My first choice was not good, so I changed the field of study and went to Business Academy Spektrum. I was interested in professional subjects and I could imagine what accounting and marketing is. The school offered me a personal approach, an individual plan, consultations with teachers and quality study materials. It allowed me to play handball abroad and manage my studies at the same time. I’ve learned responsibility and planning to be well prepared for exams in the Czech Republic. Professional subjects were projecting into real situations and I could use my knowledge from economics, accounting and marketing in practice. Assignments were related to our experience or were focused on our interests. My practical Maturita exam topic was „marketing in sports“. Thanks to graduation and transparent Europass Supplement I work for a marketing department in a big gastronomy company in Germany. I have my own projects and the company is supporting me in my further education and sport.
