Skills explosion

I am Luka and I am student of mechanics from Slovenia.

Last November I completed a professional training course in Erasmus VET SKE 2. I worked as a car mechanic in a workshop in Leipzig, Germany. There I learned a lot of new techniques and improved my English and German. I was fixing all kind of cars and vans. The only language spoken in the workshop was German.

Only in the first week I had problems but then I was getting better at German so I was able to talk with customers. My boss even allowed me to order some parts. I am so happy that I could work in such a great atmosphere.

So how did all start? My friends and I made a decision that we want to travel and work abroad, so we signed in for Erasmus. A few months later we were on bus to Vienna where we went on a plane. It was the first time for me so I was a bit nervous but at the end it was awesome. The first thing we saw was the Porsche factory. When we came to our apartment we felt like home. I really enjoyed the time aand recommend this experience to everyone. I wanted to participate this year too, but covid-19 stopped my plans. I want to visit places and learn new skills, so I look forward to another adventure.
